mmmmm...do I have a recipe to share with you! This recipe is phenomenal...and must make. But...there's a little secret...you have to try it with the homemade syrup...so easy to make dont worry...Here's the recipe and the syrup will be to follow. mmm....tell me what you think....
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tbsp cornstarch
1/8 tsp Nutmeg
1 cup water
2 Tbsp butter
1/2 tsp lemon zest
2 Tbsp lemon juice
Stir together sugar, cornstarch and nutmeg in a small saucepan; add water. Cook over medium heat until thick and bubbly; cook and stir for an additional 2 minutes. Remove from heat; add remaining ingredients. Stir just until butter melts. Serve warm. Enjoy!
