Photo Masks Volume 1 Meets Wild Boys
I wanted to do another layout using the photo masks and the Wild Boys kit also seemed appropriate.
Journaling reads:
Max broke his elbow in a totally unexpected way - showing us his dance moves! We were visiting Uncle Eric in Connecticut. I could tell immediately that it was serious. We took him to the ER where they informed us it would need to be surgically repaired but not for about 24-48 hours due to the swelling. We decided to drive the 7 hours back to Virginia and take him to Children’s National Medical Center. We had to wait in the ER again but he was finally admitted and taken to surgery the next morning. He did so well considering the pain and trauma of this event. He had a real cast put on a week later at his surgeon’s office. No more swimming this summer!

The Salty Dog
This LO is not for everyone, but it tells the story of Cody's piercings. Cody went with his friends to the mall and got his ears pierced. It was terrible.The only place I could think of at that time of night that could fix his ears was The Salty Dog Tatoo and Body Piercing joint. A nice man named Mr. Bear fixed Cody's ears. I used a double mask on the background. from Kris Myers' Photo Masks volume 2. One mask on the photo from Kris Myer's Photo Masks vol.1, and then on the little photo-I used the mask from Kris Myers' Wildboys Kit along with paper. X is from her Pirate Kit-Kris Myers Date Kit.

Photo Masks Volume 1 - Niagara Falls
I decided to try a two page spread since I had so many photos of our visit to Niagara Falls. It was fun to play around with the masks and try different blending modes.

Here's a pic of my sweet baby girl. This layout is for Brooks SSR Challenge! So I figured I would let Brook inspire me on this layout. This layout was inspired by a layout that I found at SSR done by Brook called "My first day" thought it doesnt look like hers, it was inspired by the bright colors, patch work paper. Thank you for giving me a little inspiration Brook!

A Visit to Jamestown – 1607-2007
Scott was able to accompany Maren on her 4th grade field trip to Jamestown. It is regarded as the oldest permanent English settlement in the United States and celebrated its 400th Anniversary in May. The kids had a marvelous time learning about living conditions, trades, dwellings, the ways of life and seeing the replicas of the three ships that made the journey - the Susan Constant, the Godspeed and the Discovery. It was great for them to see firsthand some of the things they had studied about that year in Virginia History.

One of the trees in my garden. It was just a twig when I planted it 2 years ago! I don't know what it's called,but it's limbs are covered with a velvety bark,so I call it my 'deer antler tree'....
